The New Year
2010 has come in with a huge BANG! My own life has been filled to the brim with ridiculous extremes of experience. I have been centering myself in the midst of an intense storm of difficult and exquisite change and transition that the New Year has brought with it; confusion and clarity, agony and ecstasy, grief and bliss, discomfort and pleasure, loss and Love. The energies of 2010 don't play around...
The intuition that I get about all of this is that as we get closer and closer to The Shift - The Great Awakening of Humanity, the energies that are manifesting in our world at the moment will become more and more intense, and everything will continue to accelerate at ever increasing rates. In this process it's our job to keep our center and balance in the middle of the storm. Learning to sit with those things which are uncomfortable, learning to remain non-attached, learning to live completely in the NOW/HERE, appreciating and having gratitude for the beauty in your life...basically remaining open and flexible in all situations.
The one lesson that knocked me upside the head going into the New Year is that no matter how much you think you know or understand, no matter how you define yourself or your life, no matter how much you think your life is set and on course, life (you really, from a greater perspective) has a way of utterly changing your world. Be prepared for massive paradigm shifts at any moment.
In the midst of such intense, deep, amazing, and difficult change and transition the one thing I have found immensely useful in maintaining my center is being consistent with my daily practice. That would be my suggestion to anyone who is feeling lost and confused in the middle of the storm; create a daily practice that helps you find and maintain your center and balance.
2009 was by far the most phenomenal year of my life. With how 2010 began, I can only imagine what lies in store...Happy New Year!
